Let the butter soften to room temperature and then work in the sugar, add the egg yolks, flour and baking
powder, finely chopped nuts and half of the liquor; whisk the egg whites until they make stiff peaks and
add it to the mixture. Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured baking tin and leave in the oven at 200
degrees for about 40 minutes. When cooked, leave the cake to cool in the oven. Once the cake has cooled,
sprinkle the surface with icing sugar and garnish with walnut kernels.
