In the nine rooms it is possible to see a collection of unique pieces of textile art. Umbrian Renaissance tablecloths with decorated borders, traditional folk materials, lacework and all the equipment used to make them. One room has been set up like a classroom in a Montessori school (Rovigliano and Montesca) because Alice Hallgarten Franchetti, the owner, was a great believer in this method. She also organized a lot of other social and economic initiatives in Città di Castello and she was interested in safeguarding the art and craft traditions of the area. The woven materials skillfully created inch by inch are the pride of this antique workshop.
